I downloaded some Bitcoin price data and fed it into a distortion/grid setup, setting up colour and distortion effects based on the price fluctuations over time. Each portion of the grid contains a price integer, with the number sampled from the point it was stamped onto. Each frame is one month of data, with the min and max values calculated to normalize the point colours. Then I remapped the low values to red, average values to white, and high values to green.
